Maximising/Exiting full screen on videos - screen blanks out?

Momentarily (0.3 seconds), the screen goes black everytime I maximise/minimise video's. I noticed this on web pages, haven't tested on local files yet.

Cause for concern?

This is a Retina Macbook Pro 15' (mid 2014)

edit: just seems to be on chrome... Hmm?
