Maximising windows - to fill the screen

I downloaded something last year that lets me maximise the window I'm looking at, but can't remember what it was or where it came from.

Does anyone know?

Reason is that my OH's login doesn't let her maximise like this - you have to drag the corner of the window to the biggest size.

You can also use the free BetterTouchTool which - among other things - does window snapping/maximizing.
