okay so I bought my iPhone 2.5 months before and I just checked today the maximum capacity and it says 99%.
Does this make any sense , considering the fact that I take care of my phone ? I take the mobile case out when charging , I avoid to plug it in all the time , I avoid overheating etc

“Taking care” is a subjective thing. A lot of people think they’re taking care but really are harming the battery by doing certain things. Although 99% after 2 months sound ok, depending on your usage pattern.

Not sure if “taking care” helps or not as my X still shows 100% and has been in service since last November. All I do is toss it on the wireless charger before bed.

What were you realistically expecting, the battery to last forever?

1% is plenty strong, and probably well within the tolerance of the measurement of the capacity.

Seems like we have threads like this every week.

I know heat affects things… 🙄

We have a car with broken power windows and broken A/C. In order to prevent interior theft when the vehicle is parked the windows can't be rolled down. So, from May to late September in Phoenix summer heat, I have a rolling sauna. Almost three years of this has affected the battery on my 6s+.
