I finally got an easy one. Just need to close my rings every day. I do that anyway. So no problem. I'm beyond thrilled! The past two months were hard.

My challenge move 200% 6 times 1 month.

I disappointed cos it same again. I only ever get 2 same challenge calories or move 200%. I never get anything else. :(

95.5 minutes a day. Might have hit the wall with this one. View attachment 834661

Simply from a practicality perspective, that's a lot of minutes.

I just managed to close off this one for April and I've got this one for May. The other award is the most satisfying though :)

Congratulations on the 365! I'm 4 days away from getting mine. Should be Saturday.

Thanks :) Good for you :)

I have to say that this is the biggest Apple Watch feature for me. Having had a pre diabetes blood sugar test about a year ago, I knew that I had to lose some weight. The rings gave the motivation to move more and I've kept off the 1 1/2 stones since then. My BP has been consistently lower since then too.

I'm at very high risk of diabetes due to family history. But I'm hoping the watch can help me delay it, if not prevent it altogether. Though I should probably get into a doctor soon just to see where I stand.

I have to double my move goal 2 times. Thank you, Apple for finally adjusting the challenge for my current situation.

Mine should be doable...missed my April challenge by 3k calories (road trip did it to me) so fingers crossed for this one

Ok, it took a monster effort at the end of April, but I did it.

Here’s my May Challenge:

Being the practical thinker that I am, I pulled up the calculator to see what I needed to AVERAGE in order to achieve this goal. Here’s what I got:

I looked back at April and found that I exceeded that daily average just 14 times. My total calories burned for April was 25297 for a daily average of 843.233333.

So, I have to AVERAGE about 24.5 active calories per day more in the month of May than I did in April. Is this doable?? I think so, and here’s why.

1. Spring has officially arrived here in Alaska which means I’ll be outside more and biking more. Yes, we may be subject to another dose or two or snowfall, but it shouldn’t be significant.

2. I am planning to run a half marathon in August, and my 14 week training plan is scheduled to begin on May 12.

Between these two things, I think I should be able to achieve the challenge Apple has pushed out to me this month.

I considered adjusting my daily move goal to 870, but I don’t want to jeopardize getting my other monthly challenge award for closing my move ring every day.

I fully expect this to change but at the moment I have two challenges (both very achievable):

32,900 calories (1061 a day).

Arguably doable because I am really trying to exercise significantly more so I have been aiming for at least 1000 calories a day from walking.

I’ve closed all three rings today and doing so has made the double your move goal six times challenge vanish so I’m now down to the more traditional one challenge.

Of course, by tomorrow the challenge may be something entirely different. Time will tell.

Double my Move goal 19x. Currently Move is set at 500, and will probably stay there through the end of May when my current school semester ends. This is pretty doable for me.

So I walked for 53 minutes today, got my move closed and exercise ring closed, I set the workout to walk on the watch when I did my walk, yet my challenge didn’t move up. :(

My challenge is to have 25 workouts for the month. Anyone else have this problem?

Each workout has to be for 15 minutes of exercise or more

How did you wind up with two?!

Apple does have an algorithm in place for walks that some people have mentioned before. It has to be a brisk or moderate walk to where your heart rate is elevated enough to qualify as exercise. For each person this will be different, but it can’t be a Sunday stroll. You should be able to gauge when you’re being challenged by walking.

In the end, I didn’t. I often find the first challenge that appears is gone by the next day to be replaced by a different one. This is the first time I’ve had two showing at the same time but the first one (doubling my move goal 6 times) did disappear overnight, as I’d suspected it might.
