Here's a tip: Use [URL="http://www.adiumx.com/"]Adium[/URL] (a very customisable IM app) to replace AIM and the dreadful Microsoft Messenger. You log on with the same addresses and passwords, and can even be on both accounts at once, keeping your contact lists

Also, instead of the hideous Limewire, use [URL="http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12747"]Acqlite[/URL], or even better [URL="http://www.acquisitionp2p.com/"]Acquisition[/URL] (if you're willing to pay, or put up with a few nags to do so). They both connect to the same places as Limewire, so you get the same things to download :)

How do you get the calendar on your desktop without having it as an application in the dock (wot app is that)?? And wot are the apps in your menu bar??

It's a Yahoo widget...the Yahoo icon is in the menu bar. I killed my Dashboard calendar trying to modify it, so I got the Yahoo one instead.

Apps from left to right in the menu bar: Desktop Manager, iScrobbler, Yahoo Widgets, Adium's in there somewhere, SMART Reporter, all the normal stuff, and MagiCal at the end.

Snapz Pro hijacked my screencapture and I don't know how to remove it completely, so I'll just post the wallpaper I'm using. Everything else is just usual OS X anyway (dock has Mail, Safari, iChat and Photoshop if you're really curious. The menubar is just the default plus the iChat icon).
