i for the life of me cannot get my bootcamp HDD icon to be different than my regular hard drive icon. i have tried using candybar, SetIcons, LiteIcons , and it just just wont change. anybody have advice on how to do this. thanks

^ Hmm that's weird, I was able to change it in Candybar no problem.
Did you set your bootcamp partition to FAT32? That might be why, since both operating systems can write to FAT32.
You can't change it because Mac OS X cannot write to the NTFS volume. Installing MacFuse (which circumvents this limitation) will allow you to change the icon.
