I was over at AppleInsider (don't worry macrumors is still my 1st love) and was reading this article:

Maybe this has been discussed or I'm not reading this right, but since when does Dell stock and sell Apple computers?

Wouldn't be too unusual if Dell holds the master supply and servicing contract for the district.

Just means a single point of contact for orders and repairs.

You can get all kinds of things to happen when you offer someone a supply chain management contract worth tens of millions of dollars.... This kind of arrangement is not super unusual. And it plays on Dell and Apple's strengths both -- Dell is better at this kind of management than Apple is. Apple, I think, makes better computers.
