I used my MacBook Air and closed the lid, when I was done using it. A couple of hours later, I opened the lid to use it again. But the screen was all black, and I couldn't power it on with the power button. A couple of hours later, I tried turn it on. This time I could turn it on, but it shut down by itself after a few minutes.

Now, if I don't power it on for a few days and then power it on, I can get it to last for an hour or two, before it shuts down. When it shuts down then, I cannot turn it back on and have to wait for a bit of time before it can turn on again for a short amount of time.

Have called Apple Support, they suggested a SMC reset, NVRAM reset or what it's called. None of it worked.

Any magnetic objects nearby your Air?
