Just received my new C2D MacBook on November 16. I'm a switcher, and a fan of the Mac setup, but unfortunately I'm already having big problems with this computer. The most recent/important one has to do with the display: at one point tonight when the MB was executing some action (probably having to do with Firefox, I've forgotten), the screen blinked and suddenly it was as if the color quality on my display had been set much lower: color gradients were all messed up, some black lines disappeared, lots of areas were whited out, etc. The display settings are the same as they were when the screen appeared normal, i.e. 1280 x 800 resolution and millions of colors. I've tried shutting down and restarting, changing the resolution/color quality and changing back, but nothing helps. Any thoughts? I'm calling Apple in the morning.

I'm having these exact same problem on my uncle's C2D MacBook with Tiger. I did a new account and works as expected. Does anyone has resolved this problem? Thank's in advance.
