mb external keyboard

Hi, does anyone here use an external keyboard w/ their macbook? I concluded that most of the time I will be using it in one place and it may be worth getting the Apple USB keyboard. Is it more convenient or a hassle to have an external keyboard?

i'd say it's only worht it if you're using an external monitor

When I'm home I usually use my laptop at my desk, so I use an external keyboard--I find it MUCH more comfortable. I use the Apple Bluetooth keyboard & Bluetooth Mighty Mouse, works flawlessly and theres nothing to disconnect when I want to take the laptop with me.

If you type a lot, you should definitely get an external keyboard, it's WAY better for you than the laptop keyboard. I use a wireless keyboard and mighty mouse and love it. I agree, it's great to be able to just pick it up and go without disconnecting stuff.

I couldn't affort to not have an external keyboard, since i soil it with coffe atleast once every year 😀

I guess it would depend on the keyboard but there are Apple KB skins to prevent those coffee stains 😀

I've got an external keyboard but I rarely use it. A mouse comes in handy, though.
