So I spilled coffee on my MBP. Brought it to Apple last night and it would've cost about $800 to repair it. And take about 2 weeks to repair. I need it ASAP so I bought a new one since I'm going for my AppleCare Support Training Classes soon.

Since I have this other one, can I use my sisters MB (Late 2006) and rip out everything and use her Logical Board (MoBo) and put it in the MBP? I looked around and seems like they are the same screen, same powers too. Only difference is the battery. But the liquid spill never got to the Battery And that is still perfect. So I'm wondering if I can use that MB MoBo for the MBP Battery. Or does no one know?

I want to do this and hoping I get positive comments because my sisters MB is really slashed around the top and bottom of covers. And looks really horrible.
