MB Mockups #2

Wow, that one's really good. It'll probably look very similar to that, with the black MacBook keyboard and big trackpad. The CD drive's a bit small, though.
 
Great design! I would absolutely upgrade from my 2.4 SR MBP i the tech specs were improved along with this design!

What are the chances they would ditch the full DVI in exchange for the Micro DVI on the MBA? That would sure reduce the footprint.... Now they just need a smaller Ethernet :)
 
I'm not sure how I feel about the black keyboard yet. Sometimes I look at it and think it looks really slick. Then other times I look at it and it looks cheesy. I hope Apple doesn't start making compromising on the MBP to make it thinner.

The MBA is sweet and has it own niche in the lineup. I hope that the MBP keeps it own niche too. As well as the MB.

Just my thoughts. I do like how it looks more slick (the edges look more rounded).

Ummmmm... I might ask for two speakers and, I donno, maybe a power button. If they add those I've got my credit card ready. MAX THAT BABY OUT!:cool:

If that came out in the summer with an upgraded spec, the only way it would look better i reckon is when its on my bedroom table :D

Seriously though, it does look nice, and, although I'm left handed, I'd prefer a centered keyboard.

the only issue I see is that the DVI port in the mockup has been squeezed to make this slimmer.. In order for a new a new MBP to be slimmer its going to have to use some sort of adapter to use a DVI Port (or go to HMDI?) as there isn't much frame around the existing port.
 
could turn out to be like the MBA that is slimmer in the front and slightly inclines at the back :cool:

Perhaps that would work :rolleyes:
 
I'll come up with something during the week if you want... I'll try and make it as real as possible (i.e. Not super, super, super thin, etc. You get what I mean right? Right.)

yes i much prefer the current MBP keys, the MB keys are too far apart and just seem a bit harder to type imo.

oh oh u could be onto something there!!!! wonder if any1 can verify it?
 
Roughly translated, the case says "specifically manufactured for the Macbook pro 13'3" and then goes on to talk about the protective features.

Could be a typo.
