I'm off to the US, from the UK, in the next week and will be investing in a new laptop while out there as my five year old 1.33 17inch powerbook is getting far too long in the tooth for what I want to do with my digital images these days.
Basically my question is what would I find the best for RAW file conversion and handling, the blackbook or the entry level MBP. I'm not too fussed on graphics acceleration and both have the same RAM/Processor so I wouldn't have thought there'd be much of a difference but still wouldn't mind a more informed opinion.
