The battery on my Lenovo X1 Carbon Nano is heading south.

I'm going to get a new laptop and battery life to me is more important than any other factor assuming I can run Powershell.

Is the battery life really hit real world 12-15 hours? I'd be looking at a 14" 10 core model just because I want the better screen. 90 percent of what I do is web, remote management, and of course Powershell, nothing really with video or anything processor intensive.

Platform doesn't really matter to me, everything I do is on Windows now but I could work on anything but I must have Powershell and I've read a lot of different things on OSX in regards to PowerShell.

Anyone use PowerShell, consistently, on OSX? I'm not crazy about moving to a heavier laptop but if the battery life is as good as they say it would be enough for me.

As far as those who suggest a Air, I'm on my laptop all day and the key travel is too short for me.
