MB screen randomly goes black

I have a black MB for about 1.5 years and the screen has just recently started going black. The first time, I wasn't even using the computer and the second time I was typing. I checked my energy saver/screen saver and my hot corners, but nothing was affecting it.

I was wondering if anyone could help/offer any suggestions.
