MB133LL/A Original UK Price?

Hello,
I've got the chance of buying an ex-display MB133LL/A 2.4 ghz 15" early 2008 model Macbook Pro for £999 and was wondering what the price was before the Unibody models was released.

I'm very tempted as it's a good spec:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo
CPU Speed: 2.4 GHz
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
RAM Type: 2gig PC2-5300 SO-DIMM
Screen: 15.4 LED-backlit TFT active matrix TFT
Video Card/Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
VRAM: 256 MB GDDR3
Max Resolution: 24 bit 1440x900
Hard Drive: 200 GB 5400 RPM

Just wanted to know the origin al retail price and if it's worth the price.

A relative bought one of these just after the Unibodies came out (they like Matte screens and dislike the new design) and it cost £1099 new, £999 is slightly inflated, but probably a good price as they are powerful machines, with a proper trackpad button.
