In case some people still not sure about this.

I usually have Photoshop, Fireworks, dreamwear open at the time, plus lots of other applications, and my MBA can handle them just fine, no lags at all:)

    Great machine.

    That is good

I loaded Photoshop CS4 on my new 13 inch Air ultimate and it looks good as well although I haven't really used it yet. I loaded windows on it with bootcamp so I am good to go. At some point I will get Parallels or fusion. The guy at the Mac store recommended Fusion but after having listened to comments on this forum about the speed of Parallels I think I will go with that.
I had the impression in the past that parallels tended to be more buggy.

I run CS5 with Aperture on my Ultimate 11.6" quite a bit and it works great. Obviously I use my MBP for the majority of my "heavy lifting" but my MBA spends a lot of time at the forefront of my photo processing. I've been pleasantly surprised with the performance, it's been a very good machine.

In a way its still partly true - Parallels is constantly updating and adding features, while Fusion doesn't see many updates and new stuff being added, the more you add, the more possibility there is for things to break. But the speed difference is noticeable, the CPU usage difference is easily seen (I usually monitor CPU usage with iStat Menus). Can't ignore the performance difference.
