MBA 13" 2012 battery life now 2 hrs 20 mins :(

Till few months back my MBA 13, 2012 battery life was 7 Hours. Right now it is just 2.2 hours. This is horrendous. Not sure what to do.. Please advise.

Your screenshot shows two top processes taking quite alot CPU. Are those constantly like that? If yes, thats your problem...

My 11" did the same but the Apple store replaced it for free after getting the go ahead from Apple Support.

Try uninstallling Samsung Kies. Do you really need that program? Try using an alternative, if you can. Then do a restart and check if the top process is still there. Samsung Kies is a horrible program and trends to ruin your batterylife by these type of processes. Hope this helps!

What do you need Kies for? Android?

Kies is the syncing app for Samsung phones. Have you always had it or did you install it recently? It looks like its using cpu all the time which would explain your battery life.

I removed Kies.. it seems to help and increase my battery life.. but still its not near original 7 hours!
