MBA 13" i5 - 1080p?

I'm in the process of buying my MBA 13", but havn't decide if i'll take i5 or i7..
So, wonder if i5 can play 1080p on a TV? if not, can i7?
And is there any difference in performance for 128gb and 256gb?

Plays smoothly, no problems.

My Core Duo 1 with 2 GB ram and intel GMA 950 can play 1080p.
