MBA 2013, install Win 8.1 from USB DVD to USB Stick

Hi Guys,

I'll soon receive my MBA 2013(its in korea right now). Bought a 128gb USB Stick that I would like to install Win 8.1 on. My plan is to install it from an external USB DVD drive to the USB Stick, do you think it will work?

Any tips?

As I understand it, the MBA 2013 have full UEFI 2.0 support and can boot Win 8 natively. Does that also means that it can boot from an USB stick?

I'm really a windows/MS guy who recently gotten into the fruit business 🙂
