Floating on My Magic Boat
Hi, all...sorry if this is answered elsewhere but my searches didn't turn up a full answer.

I know that Apple states that early 2015 and later MBAs will support external 4k monitors at 3840x2160.

Is anyone out there successfully using their early 2015 MBA with a 4K monitor without sketchy scaling or jaggy typeface issues? The first external 4k monitor I tried with my MBA was not promising regardless of the Apple support docs to the contrary.

Specifically, I'm looking at the BenQ 32" PD3200U or the 27" BL2711U. Anyone using either of these with their MBA?

Thanks!

FWIW, I can run a 4K Dell P2715Q at 3840x2160 but I tend to stick to 2048x1152 as it's better for my eyesight. This is a 2010 MBA so I assume a 2015 could do the like. Apple doesn't officially support 4K monitors for my ancient MBA but that doesn't stop it working unless you run High Sierra with it. The screen modes are available in El Cap but not High Sierra.

Refresh rate drops dramatically at higher resolutions, have no experience with it so I can't comment. I'm running a 1080p 27" Viewsonic, looks fantastic to me.
