Hello guys, this offer seems very good to me. I'm not sure what kind of SSD drive is this one and wonder if anyone on this forum had experience with this one.

Well, just from doing a quick search, it seems, if that stick on label is to be believed, it could be made by Samsung..

Authorization Prefix:MSIP
Certification Type:REM
Company Code:SEC
Model Identifier:MZ

I know that model number field is different, but the others match. According to that website, SEC=Samsung Electronics Corp... Personally, I would not trust it. I would go with one of the commonly recognized drives in this forum. They may cost a bit more, but I believe are more reliable, and most have a stated warranty. So, unless you really don't need to care about any data integrity, you could go with it and see how well it works, but I wouldn't. I would also go with a lot more storage space than 256gb if you can afford it..

Thank you. Even though they look like Samsung, I don't believe they are actually samsung's drives. I'll probably go with Transcend.

Yeah, do your research on Compatibility, Price, Performance, Size. Also, get the correct known good adapter to fit your machine.

Transcend have a special products for upgrading Macbooks (without adapters). They're called JetDrives. I have an upgrade kit but still no appropriate ssd drive. I'll decide for one JetDrive

Pre-loaded OS is meaningless, I would never trust a vendor who gave that as a selling point. Further, they are breaking the EULA by doing it, since they don't have a distribution right from Apple.

Right... That's just another key untrustworthy point.. That whole thing looks fishy to me.. That's why I said I wouldn't trust it. Really gotta pay attention to stuff like that..
