MBA for Computer Science

    I'm going into college for Computer Science, and I ordered the 13" MBA with maxed-out everything (8 GB RAM, best processor, 512 GB flash, etc). Do you think that will be ok for CS?

    Yes, that is a great machine for that use. It should last you quite a few years.

    I used the mac air for xcode and gimp over the last year and it worked great. base model 128 + 8gb ram.

    I used a Titanium PowerBook G4 500MHz ($3,499 :eek: ) when I studied for my CS degree. :D

    Yes, it will be more than fine. I managed to get my Computer Science and Mathematics degree with a 486 DX4 100 MHz. I had like a 100 MB hard drive, if I recall correctly.
