I was in an Apple store in Emeryville, CA yesterday and was asking if they had MBAs in stock. The sales guy told me that they did (plenty of them BTW... and in both flavors, too!), but what was even more interesting is that he told me that Apple had created a special webpage for people to check if the MacBook Air was in stock at their local store. I wish I had know about this when I was looking for my MBA a couple of weeks ago!

I think this has been posted elsewhere already, but I thought I would mention it again for all you guys who might not know about it and who are sick of calling your local store every day looking for an MBA. :)

Have you ever heard of Apple doing this for any of their other products? They must have realized that having a million people calling their stores every day checking on MBA stock was becoming a tad bit inefficient.
