How about the silver models

Now that they are released, is is possible to transplant a macbook silver keyboard (which lights up)

+ the ambient light sensor is nearer to the keys

and I think that the keyboard power is the same for all models. (in the system profiler it appears as USB which has a constant power)

Love to hear an update!

Well heres the thing.

1. MacBook and MacBook Air are completely different why?
- MacBook Airs keyboard has a dedicated cable for backlight where as MacBook doesn't have that. Unless you do serious power modding, you won't be able to add that.

2. So you would say how about replacing key caps?
- MacBook has a key called NumLock and that key is not interchangeable with MacBook Airs F4 key. The rest will work just fine.

3. No way for you to control the backlight if you hard mod it.
