MBA Mid 2012 update or no?

I have Mid 2012 MBA 128GB and 8GB Ram, Should I update to Mojave or no need? currently on 10.13.6
The only issue I seem to notice is lag while scrolling and switching between apps/windows, plenty of storage left about 40GB/128GB. is there anything I can do to make it run snappier? the battery does not to be replaced soon as it only lasts about 3 hours I would say on a full charge

I upgraded and mine runs great. Programs load a little quicker, website load faster as well.
If you don’t like it, revert back.

The fonts won't be as clear. I tried all the 'fixes' but reverted back to HS because the fonts just are too blurry for me.
