Apple has just released MBA mid-2013 and 2014 EFI update.
Check in the Appstore.
Mind telling us what are the release notes?
Sorry, english is not my native language, so here is MY translation of release notes:
- Enhance reliability during boot and wakeup when USB or Thunderbolt devices are connected.
- Correction of a rare memory problem that could result in random reboots.
- Correction in integrated screen sleep feature when an external screen is plugged and Windows is running under bootcamp.

I would recommend being careful with this update. My new 2014 Air would not boot after the upgrade. I ended up needing to wipe the disk and restoring from Time Machine to get back to where I was. Hopefully the update was worth it "-)

Hopefully it fixes my issue of my connected Thunderbolt Display waking to a black screen and the only remedy is disconnecting the TB cable, open the lid, wake the MBA, then reconnect the TB cable.
Glad to have not experienced the issues that some of the 2014 users are having. Mid 2013 took about a minute and a half to finish the update.
Same here. No issues, mid '13.
Same, updated fine here and took about a minute. No issues.
Same here. 2013 MBA update, no issues.
