MBA no longer detects External Monitor

Worked fine yesterday morning. I come home open the lid, and now nothing. I did a software update, reset the PRAM, rebooted in safe mode, checked all wires, unplugged all wires, used the option key on the display settings to get the detect displays button, changed the resolution, and still nothing!

Can anyone help me get this figured out?

Try another cable or another monitor? Try the same monitor and cable on another computer?

Does the monitor work when plugged into another source?
