MBA or MBP ?? Which one to get?

I am really confused between the Macbook Air and the Pro 😕 , they are both beautiful, but i like the MBA's design more, my needs are pretty much like browsing the web, watching videos, making documents and some Photoshop editing, i am concerned that i might need the DVD burner, and which one is faster?
So what do you guys advise me to get? Air or the Pro

get the mba if you need as much portability as possible. both will handle photoshop well and if you go with the air just get an optical drive with it.

wait for the sandybridge MBA refresh and then come back here.. MBA are due for refresh within this month according to rumor mill..

as for the DVD drive you can always buy the superdrive for MBA

it depends on when you will be using it. if it's during the day then you don't need it backlit, but i personally use my mbp at night sometimes so the light helps.

Well, the backlight does make the computer look more cool. 😎

IMO even though I can touch type perfectly and know the positions of all the keys by memory, I would still opt for backlight.

I may be the minority, but I think the Macbook Pro is a better looking device than the air.

My wife has the Air and I have the Pro. I will admit that I like using her 13" Air for internet stuff. The only reason why I have a Pro is for photo editing.
