MBA & "Put HD To Sleep" w/SSD?

Does "Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when possible" under Energy Saver preferences actually mean and/or do anything? Seems like it wouldn't.

I would assume not as the setting is to park the HD heads so they are not consuming any power, as there are no physical parts in a SSD this would do nothing when activated
