I am considering getting a rev. 1 Macbook air 1.6 hard drive version. I know this sounds like a stupid question, but is the MBA going to be a lot faster than my trusty iBook 1.33? I think I can live with everything in a MBA 1.6, if its not going to be a dog... what do you think? It is used primarily for basic word processing and internet stuff. Thanks for any and all advice!

It's going to be a LOT faster.

It's not just a numbers thing. Intel chips go significantly faster than their PowerPC equivalents at the same clock speeds.

Enjoy!
