The screen on the Air does arguably have inferior colours, though it is a pretty subtle difference. Viewing angles are a little worse as well. On the other hand, as long as your eyesight can handle it, the sharpness of the Air screen probably makes it the superior option for reading and editing text. That is about the only thing I find slightly disappointing about the Pro but even then it is not terrible.

If I remember right, it was sample images that both of the display models had on them I used to compare them. At least in that case, it was not a huge difference but it was noticeable. I suspect in general usage and without them sat side by side, you probably would not find too much to complain about with the Air screen but it is clear that it is not just a superior panel all round. But I do think that the Pro is pushing it for the resolution on a modern display. I like the colours on it but I do find myself wishing it were just a little sharper.
