No, no. On the i9 i experienced it after 15 min of continuous playback on a simple 2track logic project.

And KP is hard freeze. (I didnt get those on the i9)

Is the issue unique to Pro Logic?

I am wed to the Adobe products because we use Windows and Mac. So I use Adobe Audition as my DAW for voice/music. Also, while we use 2 track occasionally for for voice, 90% use mono recording on capture because we are doing spoken word (voice-overs).

Thanks for all the input. I’ve been waiting to buy one since the 2016 redesign! 2016/2017 models had their issues so thats why I waited so long thinking it will be fixed!

nah, system-wide.
Am sure I'd be able to reproduce them on audition, but i didn't keep the laptop long enough.

I know plenty of people that have 2016/2017 models with no issues.

I would wait. They will probably have ddr4 ram. Your only 4-6 months off.I have a 2017 mpb 13 tb. I love it. I have no issues. A quad core would be nice but the 3.1ghz dual is running like a champ right now. I got it for 1,100 brand new so I couldn't pass it up.

They already have DDR4 RAM, and if you think sunny cove will come in 4 months to apple to Pro machines you're sorely mistaken
