MBP 13 black screen on startup

Hi guys. I have a problem on my MBP 13 (2 years old). On startup I hear the usual tone, indicating that MB is booting up. The problem is that display stays blank. I connected external monitor, and I see Apple logo on external display. From there on I only see very blurry wallpaper on external display.

Did anyone have similar issues? Do you have any hint what to try to fix it?
