Hi fokes,

I have a MBP 13 inch 2010 7,1 with 4GB 1067 Mhz (PC3-8500), 1x X25-M 80GB SSD and 1x X25-V 40 GB SSD.

Because I do a lot of VM Fusion and RAM is cheap as hell now days, I want to do a upgrade.
since I experience the speed of a SSD, I also want to use the fastest 8GB RAM 1333 Mhz (PC3-10600).

My question is as follow, can someone confirm a stable macbook with 8GB RAM 1333 Mhz (PC3-10600) which is the same MBP as I have?

MY other question, will a future memory upgrade decrease my battery life?

Search is your friend. 😉

Yes, 1333 MHz RAM will work fine. I've done it several times. I have not seen a decrease in battery life with more RAM.

Are you sure you tested it with a MBP 13 inch 2010 7,1??

some people say the can't power on their macbook after the upgrade....

It's a crapshoot whether or not if will work. Just to be safe, just get the 1066 which I've installed on several 2010 Macs without any issues.
