Does anyone know if you submit a late 2016 MacBook Pro in for repairs if they replace it with a quieter, GEN 3 Keyboard or if you simply get the GEN 1 keyboard? Thanks

Neither, you get a gen 2 keyboard. You’ll be able to tell as the Option key has the newer symbol on it.

What does the Option key look like on gen 1 and gen 2 keyboards?

Edit: OK, I see the difference. It is very subtle. First pic is the new one, second pic is the old one.
