I had to return my first 2 13" MBP this week to Best Buy.

First one had a bad charger, 2nd one the trackpad was defective (Had to press down hard just to click).

Hopefully 3rd one is the charm?

Goodluck...I guess this is why I won't be buying a new Mac from BB :p.

You may be correct - My daughters was purchased at the Apple store, so far no issues.

I wanted the micro center price match to save $$

There have been reports of the Apple Store pricematching MicroCenters when in the same city.

I don't believe that the fact that it was purchased from BB has anything to do with the quality of the unit. Luck of the draw.

Always buy Apple products from Apple stores..

It makes a BIG difference whenever ANYTHING goes wrong! :apple:

Possibly...but customer service of the store matters to me and possibly others :p

People must have some really horrible Best Buys. I've never had an issue with BB's CS as they always take back faulty hardware/etc. I think quite a bit of return complications comes down to the customers attitude when they walk in the door. You would be surprised at how a CS rep will do a 180 when approached by a polite customer.

I have to say I purchased a backpack from an Apple store and the customer service was superb.

It's weird how an Apple device would suck when sold at BB, especially when it's brand new. lol...

Polite as always. :)

So far so good with the 3rd one. I actually exchanged at a different Best Buy.

Keep my fingers crossed!
