MBP 13 Strange Data Strings

    I have the MBP 13.3 mid-2009. I found an SD card inserted with some strange coding on it:

    Any idea what this is all about? I can't for the life of me determine why it is running off of an SD card.

    that to me looks like a file that the OS inserted in the SD so that it knows what it is about
