If it was "overheated" it would shut off. It's fairly common for the processor to ramp up for things like you describe.

Your processor usage seems normal. What temps do you reach?

It's not overheating, else it would shut down.

And the reason it gets hot during flash stuff(like youtube) is that Adobe has been quite lazy at programming the port of Flash for OS X, poor programming leads to poor performance, so the processor has to kick it up a notch to make up for it and play things smoothly.

iChat needs to decode the video and audio, so CPU will be high.

Besides, my system is at 100% cpu all the time.

Maybe you should add another RAM memory . As your mBP cant avoide the flash video view. Or maybe you MBP have some virus cause your CPU work in 50% or high. Just stop some unusal program taskmgr.

Or you can look some useful tips about "over-heat" in http://www.laptops-battery.co.uk/blog/?s=heat

Adobe Flashplayer 10.1 beta lowered CPU usage on all the computers I've tried it on.

And because Mac OS X does not provide an API for hardware accelerated video.
