Hello,

new MBP owner here (MacBook Pro 14", M1 Pro 16Core GPU, 32GB, 1TB).
I noticed that there are weird log entries in my system.log. I don't know since when though, as I have already reinstalled my system (clean install, as I wasn't sure if it was an OS problem). However, the log entries still show up.

Currently I can not explain whether it is normal, because I also hardly find anything on the internet 🙁

The log entries always show up even when I restart my MacBook:

Code:
Aug 28 23:24:35 MacBook-Pro Installer Progress[312]: BootWindowList and FileVault, using background
Aug 28 23:24:35 MacBook-Pro Installer Progress[312]: The sampled color is not equal to the first color, this isn't an Apple logo boot image
Aug 28 23:24:35 MacBook-Pro Installer Progress[312]: isAppleLogoBootImage = NO
Aug 28 23:24:35 MacBook-Pro Installer Progress[312]: isSolidColor = NO

Does anyone know if this is normal or if it indicates a problem? Maybe someone with a MBP 14" and M1 Pro can look in the System.log?

Unless you are experiencing a problem, I wouldn't concern myself with log entries. They consist of whatever the developer of that module decided would be important to report on and are really only significant to them and a few others with deep knowledge of the subsystems in MacOS.
