Hey,

maybe some users have an idea what my issue is with my macbook.
In the photo below you see red and blue pixels on the display. These are not permanent, but appear every day. I got my Mac checked at the Apple Store. My Mac seems to have no problem with the hardware. I could not show them these pixels, a classical demo effect.
Has anyone the same problem with their mbp retina 2012?

Mmm screen dandruff.

That is a curious one. It's obviously some kind of screen defect, have you shown that picture to Apple? It doesn't look like the early signs of anything and if it's not too bothersome you'd probably replace the computer before it became an issue. Just as it looks like the fix would be to replace the panel. If Apple have already looked over the machine I take it they ruled out any GPU recalls or anything.

Looks like a sky full of dead pixels at first glance. However if that was the case it'd be permanent rather than intermittent.

Best take it to Apple again and show them the picture. Also worth trying a PRAM/SMC reset; heck, it can't hurt.
