I have the first UB MBP 15" which cost me £1700.

It has the 2.53 CPU, dual video card with 512mb 9600GT card, 4GB DDR3 Ram, 320GB HDD.

Has 2 years left on the Apple Care and was thinking of selling to a mate because I never use the laptop outside of the house.

I was thinking about buying the 21" Imac. How does these compare speed wise with the MBP ?

I hear there is alot of problems with the Imacs at present ? True or false ?

    Thanks

No need to make two threads about this.

The MBP has the better graphics card, unless you choose the higher 21.5" iMac.

The CPU is obviously faster (530MHz), bigger and faster HDD, more RAM capacity, more USB boards.

Have you checked Apple's official representation for their products?

Have a look around the iMac subforum and see for yourself, what problems (still a minority though) have occurred till now, but it seems that it has not as many as the 27".

True or false is individually different, as we can#t prove anything here. It's the internet, everyone can say/write everything. True or False.
