Hello !

Is anyone else having issues with mouse scrolling ?

I have the new 16inch MBP and I am using a Logitech MX Anywhere 2s. The mouse works flawless except for the scrolling. I don't know how explain, but it seems that is not quite smooth as the trackpad... Sometimes I am scrolling and looks like the mouse skipped tons of lines... Its difficult to find myself in a large page....

I don't know if it is an issue caused by the OS or specific to my mouse's model...

If anyone have any tip I would appreciate

Thanks

Do you simply mean it’s not smooth?

If so, a smooth scroll app would help with that.

Very little out there natively scrolls content with the smoothness of the Apple trackpads and Magic Mouse.

Howdy Ruddy,

Did you find something to help with this? I have seen several apps that claim to solve this issue, but none on the Mac App Store. Plus, I have a hard time accepting that you need an external app to allow for smooth scrolling, when it works so well for the built-in track pad. Thanks!

Unfortunately I didn't find anything to solve this issue. I got used to the way the mouse behaviours.

Use the Mos application And download it. Scrolling with the mouse is way smoother.

I wrote a small program to fix the behavior you described. It has been available for 4 years, but apparently it is still not very easy to find.

There is a thread on Ask Different: https://apple.stackexchange.com/que...ll-acceleration-in-macos-sierra/262329#262329
Direct link to the repository: https://github.com/emreyolcu/discrete-scroll

Somebody also made it available on brew: https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/discretescroll

Yeah the behavior of macos with external mice is something else.
I am using "USB Overdrive" app (paid, but it works also in its free version, only asks you for purchase after OS startup). You can use the app to set constant scroll wheel speed instead of the weirdly accelerated behavior. You can disable mouse pointer aceleration with it as well.
