On 2 new macbook pro 16 I can consistently click letters on the keyboard (say the L key) in a slightly off-center way, maybe not using a lot of pressure, but I can definitely hear the clicking sound of the key actuation, yet not all the keypresses are registered.
on the other hand my 2019 macbook pro 13in has had absolutely 0 keyboard issues in 9 months of use.
I'm not sure whether it's just me having to become accustomed to pressing harder, but imho if I hear a clicking sound of the key, I should expect the keypress to register. it should be 1:1 between clicking sound and new registered character.
I never hated the butterfly keyboard of the 2019 macbooks but I really never thought I'd find the new keyboard worse in practice (the feel is great)
