MBP 17" i7 Battery issue

Hey ppl,

when my new i7 Macbook Pro goes from reserve battery power to sleep, it goes directly to Standby instead (my old macbook pro goes to sleep instead), is this normal?

Standby = gray screen and progress bar before startup when turned on
Sleep = pulsing light on the front, instant start when turned on

my 13' MBP goes to stanby as well, so I don't see any problem here
