My MBP 17" recently died and was diagnosed at the apple store with the logic board issue that is apparently a know issue for my model and was replaced free of charge.
Everything seemed to be running smoothly until I booted into bootcamp/XP and came back to OSX. First thing I noticed was the time was wrong, ok no biggie reset the time and hopped on the internet. It was terribly slow, however on the XP side it was just fine. So I ran the network diagnostic tool, said all was working fine and boom my internet suddenly starts performing as expected.
This is continuing to be an issue when I boot up, same problem, run the diagnostic tool which shows no issues but strangely fixes the problem.
I did run an update hoping it would fix this, but it continues. Am I stuck with this rather annoying workaround? Is this a known issue with a fix?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
