Hey macrumors, i bought a macbook pro december 2010, i've just noticed that one of the holes in the speaker grill looks like a piece of it has fallen off, have any of you ever seen anything like this before?

It's possible it has been like that from the factory and you only now noticed.

In any case, it's not going to affect the performance of your computer.

i must run windows, because diablo 3 runs better in windows 🙂 also the backlighting isnt blue, it must be the phone camera that distorts it.

and sure it doesnt impact performance, its just one of those things you notice a bit more once you know its there. and im also 100% sure it havent been there all the time.

im also not too sad about it, if i wanted my mac to be in mint condition, i would have left it in its packaging

You should see my frankenBook. Its badd.... The display is lopsided, dents, the display catches on the body, back cover is gone lopsided.... the list goes on 🙂

When did you do, accidentally leave it in the oven too long?

Hate it when that happens...😉
Hahahha... thats what you get when you buy a used chassis only, and add a display assembly separately, then bang it around. But I actually did color my backlight blue-- Ill post pics maybe.
