MBP 17 with ACD?

Unibody Macbook Pro 17" used with 24 LED ACD.

Would it make any sense to get the matte option for using with the ACD, where you are running photo/graphics etc., simultaneously on both monitors... going back and forth?? Would any advantage you have when you're mobile with the matte be a problem when your're back connected with the glossy? Personal preferences, of course.

Would your eyes go nuts? Would it be better to stick to glossy - glossy??

It's all personal preference. I think it would be rather annoying to have a Matte 17" if your using it as a 2nd monitor as colors and such will look different from one monitor to the other, but again thats just me.

Do what you like, it's your money 🙂

i have this set-up. honestly i was a matte guy. i just couldn't wait to get my hands on the new machines. they both work great! if i get any reflection i just crank up the brightness. I have no regrets!
