Hello. I'm a beginner in photgraphy and currently in the military so I'll be travelling a lot. Budget is tight but I'm in need of a notebook. I'm trying to get a hold of those who own a MBP with a 2.16 C2D processor. I want to be able to run CS3 and/or Aperture and do some minor video editing.

-Would you say that this MBP can do those things that I want and not have it lag too much?

I can't think of anything else to ask right now but hopefully I'll figure something out along the way. I would really appreciate your guys' input. Thanks!

I have a core dual pro and use (very rarely i might add) photoshop cs3 but more often other cs3 app's and havnt run into too many probs concerning lag

So long as you feed it enough RAM it will be fine. I ran CS3 and aperture on my MacBook 1.83 and it was fine, a little laggy due to my 1GB of RAM, but fine. Screen is small, so i stopped using it after a while (besides, I don't know enough, or care enough for PhotoShop/Aperture)
