MBP 2.4 on a bigger screen (40-50")

    Im getting a new MBP SR 2.4 roday or next week. Howwill it run with movies etc on a 40-50" display? A TV, not a computer screen.

    it will work just fine! make sure your tv has a vga input to plug into your dvi-vga adapter that came with your macbook pro. if it doesnt you can purchase a dvi to s-video/yellow rca plug which is what i use to plug it into my tv. if the picture isn't right you can change the resolutioni nthe displays preference pane.

    I am using my MBP on 61" HDTV w/o any problems through HDMI-DVI cable.:apple:

    Wow! how much is the TV? have you tried to play games or movies on it? Does it lag or makes your MBP very hot?

    works great for me as well, I have both a 30'' ACD and a 42'' Samsung HDTV plasma and movies look great running off the MBP! :p
